Below is a commission I recently finished of Jesus calming the storm:

In this piece I have borrowed the composition of the lake from a Vasilij Dmitrievich Polenov painting, and mixed it up with a sunset I saw from my studio window and some other images. Polenov was a Russian landscape painter associated with the Peredvizhniki movement of realist artists. I am now doing a second painting on this subject from a different perspective.
