The commissioned Farm House piece, painted as an anniversary present depicts the farm that the customer grew up in. It references some of my earlier road paintings as well as the layering of imagery common in some of Sigmar Polke and David Salles' paintings. The picture shows a split timescale as well as viewpoint. It also incorporates some of the multi-viewpoint ideas David Hockney has looked at in recent years..
Oxenfold Reef was painted as a wedding present for a surfer local to the scene.
Concrete Jetty was the final piece chosen from a series painted around the commissioned subject of Brighton Beach/Pier.
Another wedding present commission was the pastel, Northumberland wall and gate.
